Located on the Hengchun Peninsula, the Kenting Dairy Farm covers a wide area of 1149 hectares ; the biggest cow-breeding center in Taiwan. Everywhere you see herds of cows roaming the field of fresh hay and green grass, obviously enjoying their home. Here you may even see the 318 meter tall Dajienshi Mountain.
Because the region experiences strong northeasterly winds, it is very suitable for growing grass. In addition, there is a nearly fountainhead where the water is of good quality, making the Kenting Farmland the best place for cowherds. The grass that grow long under the perfect environment, ripple as the wind gently pushes this carpet of green.
The Staff Canteen sells some of their local products : milk, sheep milk, dried beef slices, dairy ice blocks, beef noodles etc. Might sound common but they contain a unique taste, especially the dried beef slices that will only make you wanting for more.

By Own Car :
1) Take State Highway 17 -> via Shueidiliao -> State Highway 1 -> Fonggang -> State Highway 26 -> Kenting and you shall destinate.
2) From Kaoshiung take State Highway 17 -> Shueidiliao -> State Highway 1 -> Fonggang -> State Highway 26 -> Kenting and you shall destinate.
3) From Pingtung take State Highway 1 -> Fonggang -> State Highway 26 -> via Hengchun to Kenting.
4) From Taitung take State Highway 9 -> via Daren -> Fonggang -> State Highway 26 -> via Hengchun to Kenting.
Public Commute :
1) From Taipei, take the Pintung Guoguang Express Bus towards Kenting and alight at Kenting Dairy Farmland.
2) From Kaoshiung Train Station, take express coaches that travel towards Kenting (Guoguang, Zhongnan, Kaoshiung ) and alight at Kenting Diary Farmland. |
