Point : Kenting Mini Bali |
Count:16557 |
This mystery realm is hidden between Houbi Lake and Maobitou and is known by very few people. The locals call it Mini Bali due to the resemblance with its strangely-shaped coral reeves and clear waters.
Spread throughout the sandy coasts, are big boulders of all kinds of sizes and shapes ; they are all coral reeves of crimson red. Washed up and misplaced on the shore, sometimes it feels like being in a underwater maze. This natural spectacle of Kenting is considered to be one of the world's greatest sites.
The reason for the different shapes of boulders, according to experts, is because the underground liquid melts the limestone and thus leaking through the sand, forming different caves and rock formations after cooling. Try looking for streaming water from the cliffs, touch them and you might just feel a little bit of warmth coming through.
The coral-crowded underwater world is where schools of fish gather the most. Therefore between these rocks and arms of corals, you can spot several tropical fish ; you may even be able to swim and dive with the fish via a scuba-diving company near Houbi Lake. Why not come along and learn how to interact with our aquatic friends!

Park here, then take the left path and walk for around 30m and you will reach the seashore. Turn left into the woods for another 40meters, and you shall find a place like no other. |
