Tapa Chianshan (Mt Tapachian)
Mt Tapa (Big Dam) is located at the boundary of Mioli and Hsinchu County. Stood isolated from the other mountains at 3,505 meter high, the mountain is renowned due to its unique contour. Its peak is round and level while the body is broad. It is formed by harden sandy rocks. Under the strong wind erosion, the two peaks, Tapa (Big) and Shiopa (Small), become giant rocks formation and is referred to as “Century’s Unique Peaks” by Asian climbers.

Getting there :
By car :
Southbound or North bound, exit at the Hsinchu Highway Interchange and go along No 122 County Route to Tapa Chianshan.
