Point : Amei Cultural Village
Count:23423
Amei Cultural Village is a famous Hualien tourist attraction in terms of learning about Taiwanese aborigines. The Cultural Village is segregated by walls, fencing the bamboo huts. Within the Village there's is a godly statue of 22 meters height so this is a chance where visitors can take photos with it as a memento. Apart from the souvenir shops selling accessories and marble utensils, there are also Amei Tribe's aboriginal huts, costumes, daily equipment, fishing and hunting tools, and even the canoes used in the earliest days of the tribe are all on display.

Everyday of the week there are 5 performances (2 set shows, the other 3 dependent on the number of audience), showing off the outstanding vocality of the Amei men ad women as they move gracefully with the music. The performances include an Amei Queen Pageant, a wedding dance, agricultural rice-beating dance, warrior's spirit dance etc. Along with the visual feast, there's also a tangible feast of which you can engross yourself with, fulfilling your sensual needs.
