Lienchen Lotus Garden
As the biggest rose patty in eastern Taiwan and with a nurturing area of almost 1 hectare, the Lienchen Lotus Garden apply the most natural waters from Mount Chilai for irrigation. Strict quality control resulted in swarming crowds of visitors, just to get a taste of their innovative and unique lotus tea.

The manager Mr Jhao-An Guo graduated with a agricultural management degree and formulated the Lotus Garden with mother and sister in 1994, and in 1996 opened it out for free public visits. Currently there are more 60 different kinds of lotus flowers being nurtured and developed at the same time, winning Mr Guo a Shennon Award for successful agriculture in 2002.

The garden is divided into a Lotus Zone, an African Victoria Zone, a Water Lily Zone, a Marine Plants Zone etc. The amount of sections, however, do not hinder Mr Guo and his botanical skills. He insists on never using any spray and uses genetically engineered fertile soil, and uses leftover tea to prevent pest invasions. And this is how every April and May you can see different fields of flowers posing with their best physique as glow worms fly between them. The sea of fragrance fills the air and with visitors swimming through them, suddenly the world seems like a place without worries but only the sun and its natural wonders.
