Located at the northern flank of mouth of Tanshui River, this resort offers level and wide sandy beaches and clear blue water. It is fringed by mountains on three sides and the sea current is weak. As such, it is crowded with people especially in summer. You can see visitors, young or old, indulging themselves in all sorts of activities such as fishing, swimming or simply building sand castles on the beach. There is also a children play ground in the vicinity to keep the kids occupied. This is definitely a ideal vacationing place for the whole family.

By car :
South Bound – From Keelung, go on No 2 Provincial Route to Salon Beach Resort.
North Bound – (Tanshui Route) From Chungchin North Road Interchange, go to No 2B Provincial Route and connect to No 2 Provincial Route to Salon Beach Resort.
By bus :
From opposite the Tanshui MRT stop, take the Zhinan Express Bus (2, 5, 10), Zhinan Express Bus (Hsintien – Tamhai Route or Peimen – Tamhai Route).
Alight at Salon last stop. Alternatively, hire a bicycle and enjoy the splendid greenery and feel the cool wind on the way. |
