Situated 8km from the 11th Provincial Route and at 50 meters altitude, the Easter Administer Hualien Tourist Center is the best location for sea-viewing. It has a broad carpark, an observation balcony ; while on the inside the center encloses a display room, a multimedia projection room and a service counter. Other facilities include a site index ; guided tours about the natural environment, geology, and human resources within this confine ; prehistoric fossil displays etc.
The Tourist Center's national scenic rangers are in charge of inspections of environmental abuses such as electrifying or catching fish ; they also provide emergency services. Currently training is under progress for voluntary guides, accumulating the civil spirits in order to elevate the standard of the environmental zone.
The Sea-Viewing Building next to the Tourist Center prosecutes by providing coffee and light meals, a good place for friends to rest and have a nice chat. The building is located closely by the neighouring hills, thus a panoramic field of vision is allowed. The interior is easy without too much decor, manifested with a sense of pure relaxation. Meals include unlimited rice and soup with beef, fish, crispy chicken or spicy chicken etc. , plus desserts, fruits and drinks available after the main course, enough to fulfill your eating needs. The manager's wide variety of delightful coffee is also a big recommendation from previous customers.

| After getting off the 11th Provincial Route by Huadong Coast, drive through Lingding (if going southward) or Yenliao (if northward) will get you to the destination which is Dakeng. Around 20 minutes drive from Hualien City. |
