Located at Minte Village in Touwu, this reservoir spreads over 170 hectares of land and provides irrigation to more than 10 thousand hectares of farm lands along the Houlung River. The surrounding compound houses an bridge pavilion and a spacious park. The north and south shores are both fringed by round roads and two suspension bridges run across the surface of the lake to the Leshin Island at the middle of the lake. The view here is wide. There are also campsites available.
The reservoir surface is about 200 hectares wide and the lake is 8 km long. The water is clear and three islands on the reservoir namely, Leshin, Yuenyang and Haitang truly add colors to the placid landscape. The surrounding mountain ranges cast picturesque reflections on the lake while thin mist blankets the lake surface at dawn. There are fishing grounds for the visitors to drop their lines. It is truly nature in its utmost scenic splendor.

From Toufeng Highway Interchange, exit to No 1 Provincial Route passing Jianshan to No 13 Provincial Route and then Minte Reservoir (It is about 12.5 km.) |
