Youth (Chinese pronounciation : Chin-nian) Park is the biggest park in Taipei City. It is located at the junction of Shuiyuan Road and Kenan Street. The park is well equipped with a golf course, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a skating rink etc. During days of cool gales, kites of rainbow fly across the sky, as the sun warms up the earth below.
The Youth Park displays sculptural works of local artists. In the distance you may see pagodas admist the trees and bushes as children run playfully past them. The park even has amusement facilities so parents can rest but also be able to keep an eye in their kids. The park is also the perfect venue for landscape painters ; be it showers of sunshine or rain, the Youth Park always provides the most moving pictures. In fact, it is already a picture itself.
