On both side of the Tai-3 Road in Tahu Village, Miaoli County, there are several vast strawberry farms amid mountainous scenic beauty. This is the center of strawberry cultivation for the counter. Tahu strawberry quality is classified into 2 categories; the Chonsian (Spring fragrance) and Zhionan Chioshen (the old can reproduce early). The areas are well regulated and as such, every harvest season from January to May, the areas are packed with tourists. Local farmers also sell strawberry jam and strawberry wine by the roadsides.

From Miaoli, go along No 3 Provincial Route to Tahu where along the roadsides, you will see strawberry farms that are opened to tourists.
By bus :
Take the Miaoli Express Bus bound for Tahu or Zhonan. Buses are frequent. |
