Taipei Botanical Garden is under the management of Taiwan Forestry Research Institute. Over 1,500 species of living collection, Taipei Botanical Garden occupies 8 hectares. Taipei Botanical Garden contains a variety of exhibits and provides visitors a convenient structural learning environment. Taipei Botanical Garden are programmed to various areas, such as lotus pond, Chinese zodiac plants, Succulent plants Garden, Fern Garden, Odes plants Garden, Ethno plants Garden, Palms House…etc.
The Garden has walk paths in each area, and visitors can follow the programmed itineraries. The Garden offers functions of education, research, protection and leisure. The Garden is regarded as a downtown area for citizens to experience horticultural environment.
