Formerly named "Changfuyuan", this temple had long been taken care of by the well known artist, the late Li Mei-sue. Every year on January 6th on the lunar calendar, Sanshia temple will hold its biggest ceremony. The traditional offering rituals, cultural performances and the pigs competition are truly eye opening experiences for visitors.

By car :
Fro Taipei, after passing Panchio, go along the No 3 Provincial Route passing Tocheng to Sanshia.
Alternatively, from Panchio, take the No 114 County Route and from Taoyuan, take the No 110 County Route to the temple.
By bus :
From Taipei's Municipal Court at Kuiyang Street, take the Taichi Express Bus and alight at Sanshia.
Then, walk along Minshen Street passing Minchuan Street to Changfu Street and you will see the temple. |
