Tienlen Tea Farm
Just next to Hsinchu Sianshan in Tinou Village, Chunan Town, Miaoli County, is the famous Tienlen Tea Farm. Since its establishment in 1977, the farm has successfully earned a high reputation for its superb tea quality. The farm also displays various pot plants amid tea plants to attract visitors. At the front of the farm is the Lu Yi Memorial Hall dedicated to Mr Lu Yi for his contributions in the propagation of the Chinese tea brewing and making. His statue was placed in front of the hall. Inside the hall, there are displays of various kind of tea-making kits, pots. Free tea is served, of course. Beside this hall is the Minfung Hall which can take up to 200 guests. Here, introduction to the tea making process is given. There is also a cafeteria.
Covering a 12,000 pin area, Tienlen Tea Farm is divided into tea farm and tea processing factory. It is an educational trip to come here while sampling some of the tastiest teas in Taiwan.

Getting there :
By car :
Go along Chungkuang Road. After passing Neihu Village in Shianshan, Hsinchu, the road gradually goes uphill.
At the highest point, you will see a white building beside the road and that is Tienlen Tea Farm.
