This beach front is located at the western side of Tungsio Town in Miaoli County. Its sandy beaches spread over a few miles. It has the largest lido in central region and perhaps the finest beach in the west coast. The lido is well regulated with the entire area being divided into inner pool area and outer pool area. The outer beach area is more spacious and thus, offers more sea sport choices. The inner beach area is a warm water swimming area as water from the nearby power plant flows into this part of the sea.
The beaches are fringed by shady woodland where a campsite fit for 200 campers is located. There are wooded chairs and tables in the area for picnickers.

By train or road, alight at the Tungshio stop and walk about 5 minutes to the beach.
From Sipin Expressway, you can also reach the entrance. |
