The Shiuhai Hot Springs is of akaline type, rich in Sodium Carbonate with water temperature at 43.5 degrees Fahrenheit. The clear and odorless water seeps endlessly from underground. It is also known to heal various diseases such as benign lever and intestinal disease, rheumatism and arthritis. The entrance is free of charge but as it is located in a reserve area, visitors need to apply for a Class A forest entry permit.
