Yuanshui, meaning “Salt Water” was originally an unknown small town. In recent years, it has gained popularity by its annual firework display on the last day of the Chinese Lunar New Year. Each time, it attracts more than ten thousands visitors wearing well protection clothes to avoid burns, to watch the spectacular display. This customary practice traces back some 100 years ago and it is a truly an exhilarating experience to be there among the crowds.

Nankunshen and Suanchoon. All these buses pass through Yuanshui. |
