Masago has the most protruding beachfront in the whole of Tainan County. The north is separated by the Chianchin River. The sandy beach has been a superb place for beach pool. In the past, it was nicknamed “Shadow of the Green Fairy’s Sail” and was one of the eight most scenic spots in Taiwan. The lido is opened all year around. Campers need to apply for permit from the County Education Department two weeks in advance.

By car:
From Matou highway exchange, take the county lane No 176 passing Chiali to Chiku.
Then, turn right to No 17 state lane passing Houkan to Chianchin and make a left turn, you will see the road sign to Masago.
By bus:
From Tainan, take the Hsingnan Express Bus bound for Masago and alight at Yeekan stop.
