Dahu means big lake, otherwise called Bailuhu which means egret lake. Dahu is a popular venue for observing the waterfowl birds. It is a quiet relaxation area in front of the Wootzi (five fingers) Mountain and Chung-yun (loyal and brave) Mountain.
In the vicinity, you can visit the Tungyi Tourist Fruit Garden or take a panoramic view of Tahu Park from the peak of Bailu Mountain that is near the lake. This is a fabulous resting place within the city confine.
