Driving for about 15 minutes from Tianshiang to Wenshan, you will see a tunnel with balusters and an iron door. After entering into the construction detour from here; you can see many tunnels along the road. This place was called the Second Taroko Valley.
Taroko National Park Headquarters has built a suspension bridge to the bottom of waterfall, and a viewing area for visitors to have rests and enjoy the beaty of the waterfall. Walking for 5 minutes, you will come to a seeper tunnel. The spring pours from the cliff gap and forms a water curtain. It is the first Shueilian Cave. The water in the cave is about 30 centimeters deep, in addition, the ground is covered by spiculate stones which will stab your feet if walking barefoot , so slippers and raincoat are necessary.
Continuing walking for 2 kilometers, you will see a bigger Shueilian Cave. A waterfall named Qiansi Waterfall runs down from the cliff in front of the cave, which enhances the beauty of the picture. But the cave has been closed at present for avoiding the danger caused by the rock sliding. Not to go in rashly please.
