Rueisuei Hot Springs is located in Rueisuei Township in Hualien and originated from the upper stream of Hongye Stream. Rueisuei Hot Springs, along with Hongye Hot Springs, Antong Hot Spring are the three famous hot springs in Hualien. Rueisuei Hot Springs is especially famous.
The water of Rueisuei Hot Springs quality belongs to the alkaline sodium carbonate type. The water would flow out from underground. It is brownish and contains iron, which makes it undrinkable. Temperature is around 48 degree Celsius, and it's good for skin disease and arthritis. The pH of the salty spring water ranges between 6 and 7.
